One of the greatest players the game has ever seen, MS Dhoni is a warrior and there’s no denying it. Despite struggling with a knee injury, Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to victory over Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) game on Wednesday. With his limited movement, Dhoni stood up straight and landed several powerful blows on the members of the royal family. After scoring 17 goals 32, Tala almost sent CSK across the line. Although his efforts were in vain, the fans certainly enjoyed the fireworks display he put on.
Now, a video has surfaced on social media showing Dhoni limping back to the locker room. The video really breaks the hearts of many CSK fans given the importance of Dhoni to them.

At a post-match press conference, CSK head coach Stephen Fleming confirmed that Dhoni was recovering from his injury.
“He (Dhoni) is recovering from a knee injury that you can see in some of his movements, which hinders him somewhat. His physical form was professional. He arrives a few months before the start of the tournament. Pre-season is a month before he comes to Chennai,” Fleming told reporters at a post-match press conference after CSKA suffered their second defeat in four games this season.
Fleming, however, expressed his confidence that the former India captain will handle his injury well and continue to lead the team.
“He’s getting back into form and you can still see him playing pretty well. Therefore, we are always confident in how he manages himself.
Chasing 176, Dhoni (32) and Ravindra Jadeha (25) were on the track claiming 21 runs from the last over. The final score for CSK was 172/6 as Dhoni failed to finish his 200th game for CSK the way he would have liked at home.
