Just days before the start of the ICC World Test Championship final, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced a partnership with Adidas for India kits in three formats. Ahead of the Australia summit, stalwarts of the Indian team posed in the new test jersey, giving fans a glimpse of the new kit the team will be wearing at the Oval starting Wednesday. The likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Ravindra Jadeja and more could be seen posing in the new test set.

In a press release on the partnership, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah said: “We are committed to helping develop the game of cricket and are thrilled to partner with one of the world’s leading sportswear brands, Adidas, on this journey. With a rich heritage in the sport, world-class products and a broad global reach, Adidas will play a major role in enhancing the performance and future success of Indian cricket’s various categories.”
The contract, which runs until March 2028, will give Adidas exclusive rights to produce kits for all game formats, according to the Board of Directors. Adidas will be the sole supplier of all sportswear, training and roadwear for BCCI, including men’s, women’s and youth teams. Starting in June 2023, the Indian national team will appear in three stripes for the first time and will unveil their new kit during the World Testing Championship final.
Previously, several top players posed in the new ODI and T20I kits in a video released by BCCI.
