Dhoni, who led the Chennai Super Kings to their fifth IPL title, flew to Mumbai from Ahmedabad after the final on Monday to consult renowned sports orthopedic surgeon Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala, who is also on the BCCI medical board and has performed surgeries on a number of top Indian players. in cricket, including Rishabh Pant.

It was learned that Dhoni had already been discharged from the hospital after undergoing keyhole surgery for “arthroscopic repair”.
