Nottinghamshire took a win by five wickets over Lancashire in the previous T20 Blast 2023 match on Sunday. Playing at Trent Bridge in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire edged out Lancashire by 145 after Matthew Carter took three wickets. Later, Stephen Mullany’s team chased the goal with five wickets and seven balls in hand. It was the collective Nottinghamshire bowling game that helped them to victory, but one sacking that definitely got a lot of attention was the sacking of Jos Buttler Shaheen Afridi.
On the final ball of the fifth over in Lancashire’s innings, Battler was completely baffled by Shaheen’s rushing pace and got a clean serve. The intensity of labor was such that the stump flew away. Battler left with 23 points.
