Rishabh Pant attended the Delhi Capitals’ training at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore ahead of the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) game against Royal Challengers Bangalore and the photo has already gone viral on social media. The picture shows Pant chatting with Aksar Patel on the sidelines. Pant was ruled out of the tournament due to injuries he sustained in a car crash, and the wicket-keeper batsman was replaced by David Warner as the franchise’s skipper. Leading up to the tournament, head coach Ricky Ponting made it clear that Pant would still be an important part of the team, and the team even hung his jersey in the dugout as a sign of respect.

With no tournament victories so far, the Delhi Capitals must shoot as one if they need to make a turn as they prepare to face the Royal Challengers Bangalore on Saturday.
The Capitals got off to a poor start to the season, as they lost all of their four games and remain pointless in the tournament to this day.
Things are going wrong for the David Warner-led side, and the team’s think tank is struggling to stop the rot that has begun.
Warner and his second-in-command, Aksar Patel, attacked the team, and everyone else failed miserably.
Aksar’s cameos were the only plus for Delhi this season.
Warner is second on the list of top earners, but his hitting rate of 114.83 is worrying. He struggled to score quickly, and DC losing wickets in heaps only made it harder for the Aussie.
Prithvi Shaw’s technical problems came to the fore with high-end tempo attacks that couldn’t be fixed quickly. Manish Pandey, who replaced Sarfaraz Khan, also did not contribute. Debutant Yash Dhull only lasted four balls against Mee.
The team’s poor strength on the bench in terms of Indian talent means the coaching staff now only has Ripal Patel to lean on.
However, DC may bring in Phil Salt instead of Rowman Powell. The powerful English batsman is known for his attacking serves in the beginning and can control the speed while Warner plays the role of anchor.
The pacers of Delhi were sent to the purge, although Anrich Nortier and Mustafizur Rahman performed well against MI, although they lost. But at Chinnaswamy Stadium, more is expected of them.
Spinners Aksar and Kuldip Yadav also have yet to show victorious performances.
