The Punjab Kings were unable to defeat the Gujarat Titans in an Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 match on Thursday, but owner Preity Zinta’s reaction to Shubman Gill’s sacking quickly went viral on social media. Gill was castled by Sam Curran at 67 and Zinta couldn’t keep calm. The Bollywood actress was visibly thrilled by the wicket and celebrated with actors Arbaaz Khan and Sonu Sood. Gill scored the most points for Gujarat while Viddhiman Saha played 30 runs out of 19. For PBKS, Sam Curran, Harpreet Brar, Kagiso Rabad and Arshdeep Singh scored one wicket each.

Chasing a goal of 154, the GT rookies got off to a fast start as Vriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill beat Arshdeep Singh on four boundaries, scoring 18 runs in the third over of the game.

Kagiso Rabada then went on the bowling offense and provided his team with a big breakout by dismissing well-tuned slugger Saha for 30 runs.

The Punjab bowlers used some great spells to stop the Gujarat batters from playing big shorts. Then lefty batter Sai Sudharsan came out. After 10 overs, Gujarat’s score was 80/1.

Rahul Tewatia then went into action when Punjab needed to win 6 runs for 4 balls and reach the margin of victory for his team on the fifth ball of the last over to lead his team home with a 6 wicket win.
