‘Oo Hero’: Photo from Rinku Singh’s Maldives vacation gets approval from Shubman Gill’s sister

The Kolkata Knight Riders batter recently garnered a lot of attention after uploading a photo to his Instagram from a holiday in the Maldives showing him flaunting his six pack abs. Rinku, who had a flashy batsmanship at IPL 2023, drove fans crazy with his never-before-seen avatar. The 25-year-old batter’s stunning post went viral on social media instantly, and now, a few days later, he’s back in the spotlight, but for a completely different reason.

On Instagram, Rinku shared a series of photos of him flaunting his six pack abs while half submerged in a stunning blue ocean. “Caution: exciting content ahead,” read the caption to the post.

Now Rinku’s former KKR teammate and young Indian rookie Shubman’s sister Gilla Shahnil commented on the snap. “Oh herooo,” she wrote. Notably, Shahneel is a close friend of KKR skipper Nitish Rana and Rinku.

Recently, Shahnil made headlines after a section of fans targeted her and Shubman for Royal Challengers Bangalore’s exit from IPL 2023. Many fans of RCB and Virat Kohli wrote offensive comments on her Instagram post after Gill smashed the century against RCB , which led to their elimination from the league stage.

Speaking of Rinku, he had smashed four half centuries and stood by his side on numerous occasions. However, KKR failed to qualify for the playoffs as they only managed six wins out of 14 matches and finished seventh in the points standings.

The highlight of the season was when Rinku smashed Yash Dayal’s five straight sixes to take KKR over the line in a last ball thriller against the Gujarat Titans.
