‘One bad match…’: The ex-India star has a clear choice between Ishan Keeshan and K.S. Bharat in the WTC Final

Former Indian goalkeeper Nayan Mongia expressed faith in Bharat and stated that the team led by Rohit Sharma should leave him in the WTC final as he is a “specialized goalkeeper”.

“I would play with Bharat as a specialized goalkeeper in England because he has done well. One bad match doesn’t make him a bad goalkeeper. got into the Indian national team, he did a good job to keep his place, ”Mongia said in an interview with Star Sports.

Mongia went on to state that keeping a wicket in England is a tough job and explained the problems one might encounter during a match.

“Conditions in England… this is one of the most difficult places to keep a wicket. The ball sways a lot, sags a lot, especially in the first half. You need to get up with the ball, you need to watch all 90 overs. “I’m going to play test cricket with the Dukes ball. It’s a bit more complicated compared to Kookaburra. The WTC Final will take place at the Oval in London from June 7th to 11th.
