Punjab Kings bowler Kagiso Rabad on Thursday became the fastest player to take 100 wickets in the Indian Premier League (IPL) in games played. Rabada reached the milestone during a match against the Gujarat Titans at IS Bindra Stadium and became the fastest bowler to reach the milestone in games played. He took his 100th wicket by removing Vriddiman Saha on the 5th over of the match.
The right arm racetrack reached the milestone in his 64th IPL match, surpassing Lasita Malinga who achieved the feat in his 70th match.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the fastest Indian to hit 100 wickets in the IPL, is third overall. Rashid Khan (83), Amit Mishra (83) and Ashish Nehra (83) are tied for fourth place, while Yuzvendra Chahal (84) rounds out the top five.
Leading up to the match, top-kicks from Shah Rukh Khan, Jitesh Sharma and Matthew Short helped the Punjab Kings to a total of 153/8 against the Gujarat Giants in a 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) match at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium. .
For PBKS, Matthew scored the most with 36 out of 24 and Shah Rukh Khan quickly scored 22 out of 9 balls while Jitesh scored 25 runs out of 23 balls. In GT, Mohit Sharma scored two and Joshua Little, Mohammed Shami and Rashid Khan scored one wicket each.
