The Chennai Super Kings claimed their fifth IPL title on Monday after defeating the Gujarat Titans in a top-level clash by five wickets. The final match was interrupted several times by rain and CSK set a revised target of 171 to be chased over 15 overs. The match ended with Ravindra Jadeha reaching the limit in the very last inning and taking CSK over the line. With this win, the MS Dhoni-led team equaled the Mumbai Indians’ record for most IPL titles.
Lifting the trophy, the yellow team celebrated their victory in a special way by recreating the famous Instagram video. A video posted on CSK’s Twitter shows Zhadeya entering the locker room with a trophy in her hand. Later, all the other players posed with the trophy and recreated the popular trend.

B Sai Sudharsan scored 96 out of 47 goals and the Gujarati Titans scored 214 out of four after being asked to shoot first.
Setting a revised target of 171 in 15 overs after rain interrupted play early in the second inning of the final, which was rescheduled for a reserve day due to heavy rain, CSK completed the target in what could have been Dhoni’s last T20 league appearance.
Ravindra Jadeja scored Mohit Sharma’s six and four in the last two to win it for CSK, and even as the yellow jerseys ran onto the field, Dhoni remained in the dugout with his eyes closed.
Neither the might of the titans of Gujarat nor bad weather for two days could stop Dhoni’s men from equaling their bitter rivals, the Mumbai Indians, in terms of most IPL trophy wins.
