All-around athlete Shweta Sehrawat will lead India’s 14 A-team at the upcoming ACC Women’s Development Asian Cup starting in Hong Kong on 12 June. India “A” will start their campaign on June 13 against the hosts in Hong Kong at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Area. The All India Women’s Select Committee on Friday announced India’s ‘A’ (Emerging) roster for the upcoming ACC 2023 Asian Emerging Women’s Cup.
Eight teams will take part in the tournament, which are divided into two groups.
India ‘A’ (developing) is in Group A, which also includes hosts Hong Kong, Thailand ‘A’ and Pakistan ‘A’, while Bangladesh ‘A’, Sri Lanka ‘A’, Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates are in Group B. The final will take place on June 21st.
