After two losses in a row, the Royals Challengers Bangalore will be looking to get back on the winning track when they take on the Delhi Capitals in an IPL 2023 matchup on Saturday. A team led by Faf du Plessis will enter this clash after a one-wicket loss to the Lucknow Super Giants in a thrilling showdown. Despite a strong 213 target, RCB ended up on the losing side. With their Sri Lankan star Vanindu Hasaranga back from his national duties, he is likely to join the team playing XI against DC.
We think RCB can play XI against DC.
After a winning start, RCB went astray with consecutive losses.
Players like Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis have contributed with the bat and another good show awaits them on Saturday. The return of Glenn Maxwell to the track is also a good sign for the hosts.
Mohammed Siraj was exceptional with the new ball, but death bowling problems continue to haunt the RCB as their bowlers leaked at an alarmingly high rate.
Deathblow specialist Harshal Patel looked like a tortured version of himself, and RCB is hoping others will catch up.
Hasaranga has joined the team and is expected to go straight into the main roster, strengthening the bowling alley.
Prediction RCB XI vs DCCast: Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis (c), Anuj Rawat, Glenn Maxwell, Shahbaz Ahmed, Dinesh Kartik (w), Vanindu Hasaranga, David Wyllie/Wayne Parnell, Harshal Patel, Karn Sharma, Mohammed Siraj
